Distinct Features

Distinct Features

A phoenix's most distinct feature is its ability to regenerate its body upon death, effectively making it immortal. In a phenomenon called Burning Day, it bursts into flames and is reborn as a chick. Aside from this, it possesses potent healing magic with its song and tears, which are able to cure basilisk poison and even death. Phoenixes are also unnaturally strong and possess  the ability to control fire and instantly transport itself across large distances.
